Accessing the Q&A feature

  1. From the Admin Panel, Select App.
  2. Search and select the  Q&A feature.

Enabling Moderation for your Q&A

If this is disabled, questions that attendees post will immediately be live on the right panel. Do note that this is disabled by default.
  1. From the Q&A feature, toggle the button beside moderation to turn it on.
  2. You can toggle moderation off for comments by selecting the down arrow and checking off the  Comments from the dropdown list.

Moderating your Q&A

From the Q&A feature, approve or reject questions posted by your attendees by selecting the tick icon or the cross icon.

On the Pending Approval tab, there are a few moderation options:
  1. Approve: Approves the selected question. The question will appear under the approved tab.
  2. Reject: Rejects the selected question. The question will be Archived. You can access your archived questions by selecting the Archive button.
  3. Edit: Allows you to edit a question posted by users.
  4. Switch Session: This allows messages to be changed to a different Q&A session.

  1. On the Approved tab, there are a few moderation options once some questions have been approved:
  2. Screen Message: Screening a message will highlight it to the attendees. Use this if you want to bring attention to a particular message.
  3. Unscreen message: This removes the highlight from the screened message.
  4. Mark As Answered: Selecting this will let attendees know that the particular question has been answered. The message will also be Archived.
  5. Edit: Allows you to edit a question posted by users.
  6. Switch Session: This allows messages to be changed to a different Q&A session.

Manage Sessions vs Filter Sessions

Manage Session: This indicates what will be shown on the user's side, mobile view

Filter Session: This represents what is shown on the projector screen.

Resetting Q&A messages

To reset Q&A messages, select Dashboard on the admin panel.

Under the sidebar, select Settings, followed by Advanced Settings, and scroll down to Delete Results.

Select the content that you want to delete from your event. Note that the data cleared cannot be retrieved.

From the popup, select OK to clear messages.

FAQs

Why are the messages for Q&A not visible to all users?
You might have turned on the [hide all Q&A messages] setting. Please check and select the correct settings.

How to set Anonymous identity for the users.
  • Select Settings and enableAnonymous Postings to allow users to choose between posting using their name or posting anonymously.
  • EnableDisplay name as anonymous for all questions to appear anonymous in the app. Disable it by toggling it off.

How do I find the user’s responses under Q&A?
  1. From the Admin panel, select App.
  2. Search for the Home feature and select it.
  3. Scroll down to the Audience Engagement section and select Manage Q&A.
  4. Messages from all the respective sessions will appear on this page. If moderation has been enabled, messages will have to be approved before it can be seen by attendees.
  5. You can also utilize the search function to find specific user questions.

Can the questions be projected on the projector screen?
  1. To project all questions onto the projector screen, select App from the Admin panel.
  2. Search for the Home feature and select it.
  3. Scroll down to the Audience Engagement section and select Manage Q&A.
  4. From the blue panel on the top right of the screen, select Launch Projector to highlight the Q&A questions onto the projector screen
  5. A new browser tab will open featuring the Q&A.

Can I highlight a specific question onto the projector screen?
  1. To project all questions onto the projector screen, select App from the Admin panel.
  2. Search for the Home feature and select it.
  3. Scroll down to the Audience Engagement section and select Manage Q&A.
  4. Search for the question you want to project onto the projector screen. Do note that if moderation has been enabled, you will have to approve the question before being able to project it.
  5. Select the Screen icon on the question you wish to highlight.
  6. From the blue panel on the top right of the screen, select Launch Projector to highlight the Q&A questions onto the projector screen
  7. A new browser tab will open featuring the specific question.
  8. To remove the highlight, toggle the Screen icon off.
